are welcome - no experience is necessary. We supply free tea, coffee, fruit juice and biscuits, morning and afternoon, on all workdays - if you'd like to be kept informed about upcoming events

Weather: If you are at all unsure about the forecast, please check the website to make sure the workday is going ahead before setting out. Workdays will be postponed or cancelled in bad weather, or if there is serious risk to volunteers. Don't forget waterproofs and sun cream!

Where: Catshaw wild flower bank, between Bullhouse Bridge and Hazlehead Bridge

What will we be doing?
 Cutting back the old vegetation on this lovely wild flower bank to make sure it does it all again next year!

Parking: is very tricksy  at this site. If you definitely need to come in your car please get in touch for advice about parking.

What will we be doing? Maintaining the wild flower areas

Parking: Please arrive on foot or bike if you can; if you need to come in the car, you can park in Rock Side Road, taking care not to inconvenience residents, and walk through the snicket to the Trail (see map). Please avoid parking in Hornthwaite Close itself.

FAQ for information about what to wear, and what you will need to bring with you: waterproofs, sun cream, and midge repellent are often useful.  We'll supply you with tea, coffee, fruit juice, and biscuits in the morning and afternoon.
