Newcomers
are welcome - no experience is necessary. We supply free tea, coffee, fruit juice and biscuits, morning and afternoon, on all workdays - if you'd like to be kept informed about upcoming events

Weather: If you are at all unsure about the forecast, please check the website to make sure the workday is going ahead before setting out. Workdays will be postponed or cancelled in bad weather, or if there is serious risk to volunteers. Don't forget waterproofs and sun cream!

Changes to advertised dates/sites: Dates and sites are subject to alteration due to the weather/technical difficulties/volunteer availability or etc. It's always a good idea to check before setting out on the day.

Meet: On site

What will we be doing? Removing overhang/broken branches + creating light patches and generally improving this short section.

Parking Please arrive on foot or by bike if possible. If you need to come in your car you can park in nearby Rockside Road, but please take care not to cause a nuisance to residents. The Trail can then be accessed via a footpath in Hornthwaite Close. If you'd like a lift from Penistone, leaving around 9.45 am, please do get in touch.
