Newcomers
are welcome - no experience is necessary. We supply free tea, coffee, fruit juice and biscuits, morning and afternoon, on all workdays - if you'd like to be kept informed about upcoming events

Weather: If you are at all unsure about the forecast, please check the website to make sure the workday is going ahead before setting out. Workdays will be postponed or cancelled in bad weather, or if there is serious risk to volunteers. Don't forget waterproofs and sun cream!

Tour de Yorkshire - Stage 3 Sunday 30th April 2017: Leading up to the TdeY we will be working hard to make sure the TPT Penistone - Dunford Bridge is in tip top condition. If you'd like to help you are welcome; just turn up at one of our workdays!

Where: Between Bullhouse Bridge and Penistone

What will we be doing? The second of two rolling workdays to tidy up all the seating areas along the Trail, in preparation for the Tour de Yorkshire on 30th April. 

Parking: You'll find it most useful to come on a bike, as you'll then be able to cycle along the route between each site; although there will be some seating available in the vehicles. If you'd like a lift from Penistone, leaving about 9.40, please get in touch.

Where: East of the Minewater Project board just beyond Bullhouse Bridge

Meet: Bullhouse Bridge picnic area

What will we be doing? Continuing work to haul this section back towards some state of management...removing saplings from the drainage ditch; taking down broken branches etc

Parking: It's possible to park with care alongside the busy A628, but please ensure you don't block fire hydrants or sight lines. Please note, there is no parking in Bullhouse Chapel Lane.If you'd like a lift from Penistone, leaving about 9.40, do get in touch.
