Newcomers
are welcome - no experience is necessary. We supply free tea, coffee, fruit juice and biscuits, morning and afternoon, on all workdays - if you'd like to be kept informed about upcoming events

Weather: If you are at all unsure about the forecast, please check the website to make sure the workday is going ahead before setting out. Workdays will be postponed or cancelled in bad weather, or if there is serious risk to volunteers. Don't forget waterproofs and sun cream!

Changes to advertised dates/sites: Dates and sites are subject to alteration due to the weather/technical difficulties/volunteer availability or etc. It's always a good idea to check before setting out on the day.

Where: Leapings Lane access

Meet: On site

What will we be doing? Working with local artist Stephen Tarr to create a chain saw sculpture of a shooting star; pruning back regrowth and overhang; building a new habitat pile; collecting litter. Lopping, Chopping, Chatting - don't forget to bring something yummy to eat!

Parking: Please arrive on foot or by bike if possible; if you need to come in your car there is limited space at the bottom of the access.
