are welcome - no experience is necessary. We supply free tea, coffee, fruit juice and biscuits, morning and afternoon, on all workdays - if you'd like to be kept informed about upcoming events

Weather: If you are at all unsure about the forecast, please check the website to make sure the workday is going ahead before setting out. Workdays will be postponed or cancelled in bad weather, or if there is serious risk to volunteers. Don't forget waterproofs and sun cream!

Tour de Yorkshire - Stage 3 Sunday 30th April 2017: Leading up to the TdeY we will be working hard to make sure the TPT Penistone - Dunford Bridge is in tip top condition. If you'd like to help you are welcome; just turn up at one of our workdays!

Where: Midway between Bullhouse Bridge and Hazlehead Bridge; slightly closer to Hazlehead.

Meet: Hazlehead Bridge Station - or on site if approaching from Penistone direction

What will we be doing? Working with Stephen Tarr to create a sculpture; using bow saws and loppers to trim wood and build a habitat pile; removing small saplings to open the view across the valley; establishing posts for willow tits where possible.

Parking: Please arrive on foot, bike, roller skates if possible. If you need to come in your car, you are welcome to get in touch for help with parking at this tricky site. If you'd like a lift from Penistone - leaving around 9.40am - just drop us an email or ring on 07704333445.
