Newcomers
are welcome - no experience is necessary. We supply free tea, coffee, fruit juice and biscuits, morning and afternoon, on all workdays - if you'd like to be kept informed about upcoming events

Weather: If you are at all unsure about the forecast, please check the website to make sure the workday is going ahead before setting out. Workdays will be postponed or cancelled in bad weather, or if there is serious risk to volunteers. Don't forget waterproofs and sun cream!

Changes to advertised dates/sites: Dates and sites are subject to alteration due to the weather/technical difficulties/volunteer availability or etc. It's always a good idea to check before setting out on the day.

Where: WFA - east side of Hazlehead Bridge  

Meet: Hazlehead Bridge picnic area

What will we be doing? Strimming old vegetation; removing branches overhanging the Trail; raking the cut vegetation; pruning shrubs; creating habitat pies with the arisings, and collecting any litter.

Parking: Please arrive on foot or bike if you can as parking is difficult at this site. If you need to come in your car please ring/email for information; if you'd like a lift from Penistone leaving around 9.40 am, just get in touch!
